Docoon selects OUTSCALE to host its Approved Platform for electronic invoicing “Docoon Invoice”
- As of today, all French companies subject to VAT will be required to receive their invoices in electronic format as part of the e-invoicing reform
- Docoon hosts its Approved Platform Docoon Invoice on OUTSCALE’s sovereign Cloud infrastructure, SecNumCloud 3.2 qualified, ANSSI’s most demanding framework
- Objective: secure the processing of tens of millions of invoices, with the ambition of eventually covering 5% of the total volume of invoices affected by the reform
Paris, September 1st 2026 — Docoon, a French publisher of digital solutions for communication, dematerialization and secure document flow management, announces the hosting of its Approved Platform Docoon Invoice on the sovereign infrastructure of OUTSCALE, the Cloud and AI infrastructure brand of Dassault Systèmes, SecNumCloud qualified.
A reform that leaves no room for error
As of today, all French companies subject to VAT must be able to receive their invoices in electronic format; large enterprises and mid-sized companies (ETI) must simultaneously be able to issue them via an Approved Platform, under penalty of financial sanctions. For companies, the choice of platform therefore becomes critically important.
For Docoon, which aims to eventually process 5% of the total volume of invoices from companies affected by the reform, the stakes were high: finding a hosting provider capable of absorbing very high volumes while guaranteeing the availability, security and sovereignty of data, and keeping pace with the growth rate driven by the reform.
To meet this requirement, the Docoon Invoice offering relies on an OUTSCALE Cloud infrastructure, SecNumCloud qualified by ANSSI, meeting high requirements for data security, confidentiality and sovereignty.
A sovereign, proven infrastructure
OUTSCALE is Dassault Systèmes’ sovereign Cloud and AI infrastructure brand. It was the first Public Cloud operator to be SecNumCloud qualified by ANSSI in 2019.

A joint deployment, from an initial building block to a high-availability architecture
The deployment was carried out jointly by Docoon’s R&D and infrastructure teams and OUTSCALE’s teams, focusing on defining the target architecture, securing access and data flows, and performance and resilience testing. Docoon has implemented a robust, redundant solution spread across several OUTSCALE zones.

Docoon Invoice, an Approved Platform designed for complex flows and industrial volumes
Docoon Invoice enables companies to issue, receive and transmit their electronic invoices, manage their e-reporting obligations and track the various regulatory statuses of their flows. The platform is built on an API-first approach, making it easy to integrate with ERP systems, accounting software, CRMs and management solutions. It supports the regulatory formats Factur-X, UBL and CII, and includes electronic signature, timestamping and legally compliant archiving capabilities. Docoon Invoice is also expanding internationally, notably via PEPPOL and the upcoming developments linked to ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age). The solution also offers, as a complement, a multichannel communication module (SMS, email, WhatsApp, RCS, fax).
Designed for mid-sized companies (ETI) and large enterprises with high volumes, the solution is also offered white-label or grey-label to publishers and integrators wishing to embed it in their own offerings.
Docoon is also exploring new artificial intelligence use cases around Docoon Invoice and sees the sovereign AI offering announced by OUTSCALE as a possible avenue for the future of the partnership.
