CISPE Code of Conduct for the Protection of Personal Data
Recognized by the CNIL, the CISPE code of conduct is a set of principles and rules adopted by cloud infrastructure service providers in Europe. It ensures that customer data is stored and processed exclusively within the European Economic Area, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It also prohibits the use of customer data for purposes other than the provision and maintenance of declared services, thereby enhancing privacy and data protection in the cloud. Thus, the CISPE code of conduct provides customers with greater confidence in choosing cloud service providers who respect privacy and data security.
