ENERGY
We use 100% renewable energy in our offices and in our partner datacenters in France.
We have chosen to work with the world's leading, certified and committed data center manufacturers. In France, our suppliers are certified :

  • • ISO 50001 for energy management
  • • ISO 14001 for environmental management (for 75% of our DCs)
  • • For some, LEED or BREEAM standards attesting that buildings are built or maintained according to sustainability standards

ECO DESIGN
We apply the latest innovations and best practices in the industry to create more sustainable data centers: intelligent management of energy flows and air conditioning, confined cold aisle design and cabling architecture, densification of accommodation, storage efficiency, raised set-point temperatures, …

WATER MANAGEMENT
Our data center partners have taken measures to control and optimize their water consumption: use of closed circuit networks, adiabatic systems, free cheeling.

SBTI TARGETS
OUTSCALE, a Dassault Systèmes brand, is committed alongside the Group to SBTi decarbonization.
Our group objectives are :

  • • -35% on scopes 1 & 2 by 2027
  • • -20% on scope 3 by 2027
  • • 50% of our suppliers committed to SBTi by 2025


CARBON EFFICIENCY
We encourage our customers to accelerate their migration to the cloud in order to rationalize their infrastructures and equipment, and to benefit from the best standards on the market.

SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
We have a fleet of 80% electric and hybrid company vehicles, a sustainable mobility package for our employees and a “Travel greener, travel smarter” travel policy.

CHOICE OF EQUIPMENT
We choose high-performance, robust, safe equipment that is part of an eco-design or energy-efficiency approach.

EXTENDED LIFE
The carbon footprint of hardware represents almost 75% of the digital footprint. Aware of this impact, we are extend the life of our servers (minimum 7 years and more when possible).

CIRCULARITY
We prioritize the re-use of equipment through donations or sales to brokers and use recycling or energy recovery channels as a last resort.
